This website started life as a place to display a potted CV and show off my travel photographs. I soon found that the photographs generated a lot of interest from publishers looking for images from around the world, and so in 2005 I set up a web shop - so that visitors can pay a modest fee by credit card, and immediately download the full-sized image, even if I'm off in Estonia or Mali or wherever!
The credit card handling is done securely by Paypal. I've used Paypal very frequently, mostly for shopping on eBay, and I have never experienced any problems. I don't even get to see the credit card number. I do get to see your name and address (email and postal), but I only use this for book-keeping and will never divulge to a third party. (I may use your company name in a client list, but not if you tell me not to.)
Having got that out of the way, please explore the site and enjoy the pictures. If you can't find the image you want in the shop, then it's probably because I haven't included it in the shop database - with the latest image files being over 3MB in jpeg form, then I use up disk space fast on the server. I can also provide images enlarged using Genuine Fractals, or in print-ready Tiff format, but these are generally too big for my server or email. So use the contact form to get in touch.
