Potemkin steps, Odessa. Taking this picture, I had my back to the Audi dealership. I think it's fair to say they aren't making the most of their world-famous landmark…

Battery 411, a 45-minute bus ride from central Odessa, is a memorial park to Odessa's role in the Great Patriotic War (WW2). They have the usual tanks and guns, but also a submarine.

Odessa is a hugely popular seaside resort, but it was out of season, so this amusement park was closed.
